Trails’n’Ales: Vol 2
May 31 @ 7:00 am
£20.00
Our fundraising gravel ride returns for its second edition in 2025, offering up a new off-road challenge.
We’ll taking on 100km of Surrey’s finest trails before finishing back at The Park Brewery for a taproom party and pizza from the Dough Shack.
All profits from the event will be donated to Full Cycle Community Bike Project in New Malden whose mission is that every person, from all walks of life, should have access to their own affordable bike.
There will be some epic prizes on offer from our partners Alpkit, Le Col, Full Cycle Community Project, The General Classification and The Park Brewery. Big thanks for their continued support of the event.
Gravel Ride
The meeting point is Alpkit Kingston for roll out between 7-8am. We’ll have a bag drop at the start and transfer bags to The Park Brewery for the finish.
The route will be heading Southeast to Croydon on the Wandle Trail, before heading to the North Downs and looping back on some classic Surrey trails.
We recommend a suitable bike with gravel tyres that can handle a bit of mud.
It’s a self-supported ride, so make sure you are equipped with tools, spare tubes and a bit of cash in case you need to bail out.
We will send out the GPX the week before the ride to everyone who has signed up.
Taproom Party
We’ll be kicking off the party from 1pm at The Park Brewery taproom.
There will be food available and of course plenty of beers to sample from The Park Brewery’s excellent line-up.
Even if you’re not riding you can still come on down and to enjoy a beer and watch the penultimate stage of the Giro in the taproom.
There is bike parking outside the brewery, but we recommend bringing a cafe lock.
Full Cycle Community Bike Project
An important community-run project we are supporting this year, which aims to give people from all backgrounds access to affordable cycling by giving old bikes new life.
Gary and the team will be along on the day to offer bike maintenance and chat about the project and how you can get involved.
All profits will go towards the on-going running of this great project, which relies on volunteers to keep it going.
