The event is named after our former club president Gil Jessop. It’s run on the hilly GS/292A sporting course, starting in Hungry Hill Lane, just under a mile from the race HQ in Ripley. There are separate categories for both time trial and road bikes and equal prizes awarded to fastest men and women on both TT and road bikes, plus quickest juniors and vets on the day. 

This is an open event for riders from any club or team affiliated with CTT. Please note you must enter in advance through the CTT site (entries are expected to open on January 15th 2025), we cannot accept any entries win the day. If you’ve never done a time trial before, CTT provide some useful information here. We have a 50% priority for women and would love to see a strong field of all abilities from novice through to expert.
